Set up in a minute
- Download the DMG and drag Loqui to Applications.
- Open it. If macOS blocks the first launch, choose “Open Anyway” in Privacy & Security.
- Pick an engine in Settings → Connections. Whisper downloads its model (≈465 MB) once.
- Grant Microphone, Accessibility and Input Monitoring, and start dictating.
It keeps itself current: it checks for signed releases and asks before installing anything.
